Controller Installation
PC should be dedicated as printer server PC. Server PC is purchased separately.
PC System requirements:
System spec requirements for version 3.3
OS: Windows2000 Professional SP3 or Windows XP Professional SP1
CPU: PentiumIII 800 MHz or higher.
HDD: 10GB or more.
RAM: 256MB or more.
PCI 2.0 or higher x 1slot (with 3.3 V or 5V auto adaptive)
FSB (front Side Bus): 133MHz
Display Controller: 1024x768 pixels resolution or more
CD-ROM drive
Network Interface: Ethernet 10/100 Base T, TCP/IP configuration
System spec requirements for version 3.6
OS: Windows 2000 Professional SP4 or Windows XP Professional SP2
Internet explorer 5.0 or higher
Internet explorer 6.0 SP1 when using DWG/DWF/DWF Option
CPU: Pentium 4, Pentium III, Celeron with minimum 2GHz, AMD Athlon (minimum Athlon XP).
Recommended: Intel Pentium 4 with 2GHz or more.
HDD: The hard disk should have at least 20GB free memory.
RAM: Recommended maximum scan and plot length:
256MB 3000mm / 9.84 ft
512MB 6000mm / 19.68 ft
768MB 8000mm / 26.2 ft
1024MB 10000mm / 32.8 ft
1536MB 15000mm / 49.2 ft
1536MB+ 15000mm / 49.2 ft
PCI bus system must meet up-to-date standards (PCI 2.0 or higher – 3.3V or 5V auto
adaptive, maximum load 5A). If the computer does not fulfill this standard, it would cause to
the printer controller not be identified.
Display Controller: 1024 x 768 pixels resolution. Avoid computers with shared video memory.
CD-ROM drive for software installation.
Network Interface: 10/100 base T Ethernet, the TCP/IP configuration is necessary.
